Saturday, May 17, 2008 Maifest & last day of school
Like every year on the last day of school we celebrate our traditional "Maifest" next Saturday, May 17, 2007 at the Willow Glen Middle School campus, in front of the school cafeteria. Our teachers and staff put in a lot of effort to make this a fun event for everybody. We will have tasty German food for lunch, e.g. Nuernberger Bratwuerste and if you would like to contribute, please just bring a salad to share with others and no sweets or desserts as they might sit in the direct sun for a while. Parents and siblings are of course welcome. The festivities will begin at 10:15am.
We hope to see all our members and their families this coming Saturday.
German Language Toddler Class
The class takes place Saturdays between 9am and 12 noon with a half hour break. Children should be 2 years of age already, or turn two soon. One parent must be present at all times, as well as actively participate in class. Instruction will consist of songs, finger games, games, free play, a second breakfast together, reading books, and crafts. We will pay attention to events and holiday celebrations like, St. Martin, Nikolaus, Christmas, and Easter.
